So I'm a week and 500 miles into my new Ram and boy I am really impressed. Ride quality is unreal, tech is just fun and super responsive, power and pickup is adequate (came from a tuned 6.2 so it's not quite that good). Interior space is massive and the Rambox storage is a treat. The 12" screen is a must IMO, the adaptive cruise is very nice as well.

There are a few things that annoy me or will need some tweaking. It's going to sound like a long list but they are really all minor issues and I'd knowingly accept them all and still be in the truck.

Truck came with a pretty solid pull to the right so needs an alignment. Since I'm going to have the dealer put on the 2" level and spacers they said they would do it after at no charge.

I have the dang wind noise inside. Sounds like a window is cracked. It's 50% better on recirculate AC so need to either do the vent baffles mod or find where that is coming from. Disappointed they didn't do more sound control on the rear wall considering the overall quality of the rest of the interior. I've already ordered the cab/bed weatherstrip.

The drivers window down alone has the unbearable buffering (which I've seen a pool noodle fix here someplace).

If I jam the HK system any significant bass sounds like the license plate of some teenagers Civic with 2 bazookas in the trunk. Rattles. Need to figure out what that is and why it's happening, sounds like interior trim or something at or on the speaker.

The Rambox lid fit just seems a bit off but I've seen the tweaks for those here as well.

My A/C works but I feel like it takes it a hot minute (pun intended). It has to really stay cranked for a while to cool off. All black interior is literally on fire when I get in so I think tint will help significantly.

And I freaking hate the flashing red light on the Ramcharge. Why? Just make it solid red if you need to tell me it's not charging but if I plug in for Android Auto and stick my phone there I've got this never ending red flash - silly.

The list of mods and tweaks is pretty long for a brand new truck but most are out of my desire to play with this beauty and make it my own a bit. I'll keep everyone posted on those and any fixes I try or come across as I go. Thanks to everyone here for the wealth of info!

Try the other windows...you will likely find that opening any 1 window will cause the buffeting. Just crack another and it should go away.

Check to see if you get RamCare included. It comes with 4 oil changes & alignments over the next 2 years, as well as some other perks. It came free with my LoneStar. It may have been offered for a limited time.

Welcome to the forums ..

Your list of things has all been addressed here -- I've taken plenty of notes myself on what to look for, and how to fix it (or get it fixed by the dealer) when mine arrives.

Welcome, my first ram experience came in 97, and have not looked back since... 97, 03, 12, now a 19....

over 500000 miles on my vehicles...

I share the wind noise pain. Fortunately, the dealer hears it as well, and ordered the weatherstrip. I'm curious if it will work...but I find it hard to believe that this is the only reason that the cab is loud.

I'm guessing it may be throwing off the Active Noise Cancellation -- I'd like to see if there is more than 1 microphone in the cab for the system input?

it sees your phone but isnt recharging wirelessly correctly, gotta find the spot to where the light is blue
I hadn't the same issue then read somewhere that it might be the case.... sure enough it was. Bought a new thinner case and it works just fine every time.

Just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 limited, wow what a truck! On the third day of ownership (52 miles) the battery went dead and it would not start. I jumped the battery and took it to the dealer where they could find no problems. The next day the battery was completely dead where I could not even jump it. I called the owners help line and they sent a tow truck to pick it up. For the lemon law to take effect I need 3 strikes...this is strike one. Dead after 52 miles does not inspire confidence.

Hi tom Z,
We certainly understand your frustration. Has a case been opened on the Customer Care side to add additional assistance while working with your dealer towards a resolution? If not, please send our team a private message and we would be happy to get this process started for you.

Cracking that sliding back glass open a little bit works great too.

Yes a case has been opened and apparently it was a defective battery...time will tell. From what I seen before the battery failed there was a huge draw on the battery which signals a electrical fault. Lemon law states 3 strikes and I get another truck...strike one.

Too bad the Dealer didn’t check your battery properly the first time you brought it back. It was defective then, and still defective when they actually checked it the second time.

You shouldn’t have to buy the bed to cab weather stripping it is a tsb report.

I had the TSB weatherstrip installed today, (along with several TSb "flashes") and it took away that open window sound.
