Pics of my wife’s Jeep and my Rebel, I was moving the trailers around my property, The Jeep is capable of towing our small travel trailer but would definitely be noticeable than towing it with the Rebel. The Jeep has the 2L I4 Turbo and is rated at 4,000 lbs max trailer but a factory installed brake controller is not available and I will not install an aftermarket one.

You’re absolutely right about the difficulty of backing a small trailer. Did you ever try backing a small trailer behind a 4 wheeler ATV, that’s even worse!DAFE1E27-49F9-497B-87B1-503401F781B8.jpeg

Yes, I have a riding lawnmower with a small trailer, very similar style to the one in your picture, but smaller wheels. Yeah, it's a disaster to try to back up, much better off just taking it off and man-handling it unless it loaded down with something ( in which case figure out a way to not need to back up ! )

Just takes practice. That's all. I've towed everything from tiny boats for duck hunting, to a 21' center console, to an equipment trailer with a back-hoe attachment strapped to it. The latter two were with a 2006 Ram 2500 Cummins. The smaller trailers, are in fact, harder than the bigger ones.

That’s funny, I would have expect a trailered snowmobile in that snow!
I was in a similar situation when I bought my trailer in January and brought it home in early March.

I definitely get looks here in NJ when I'm trailering the rig to hunt in a winter storm. Trailering in snow, is without a doubt, the most stressful type of trailering I've experienced.
