Five days ago I traded a 2019 Ford Ranger in for a 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn. I've amassed 114 miles on it. I absolutley love it. I drove f150's for over 25 years before the Ranger I traded. I love this Ram Truck. Sorry, no pics yet, just wanted to introduce myself. Western North Carolina.

So, I too am a Ford (and Toyota) owner, but I'm not happy with the F150 (and it's a low miles 2023). What persuaded you to go with the Ram?

Like others here, it would be interesting to know what made you switch brands after 25 years as a Ford person. Also, what made you choose Ram over GM/Toyota/Nissan?

My first F150 was new, a 1999. My second was 1997m used. My third was my first Super Crew, a 2008, V8 5.4 Triton. Kept that for 11 years, still only had 104k on it when i traded it in for a new 2019 Super Crew. the 2008 developed the common 5.4 Triton engine troubles, after dumping 3k into the problems just came back. Then, i decided for some reason i still cant figure out I traded that in for a slightly used Bronco Sport. A total lemon, issue after issue with it, all under warranty of course but, 9 months later i bought a used 2019 Ranger. That also had weird issues and the 4 cylinder was underwhelming. Just was tired of Ford issues.

I knew by now I was a truck person through and through, I wanted a full size truck. So my local dealer had a Ram on the lot with about $14,800 in incentives and discounts. Now here I am. Just put a tonneau cover on the bed today.

I can only hope your Ram is as reliable, and satisfying to drive, as mine has been for me.
