I am in my late 60's and this is the first new vehicle I have ever owned. I have been working hard and saving for retirement all those years and got tired of keeping my old pickup running. I guess the final realization that I should buy a New Vehicle was when I had to weld one of the door hinges back onto the A-Pillar. Could not afford a fancy equipped truck, just a 2019 Dodge Ram Tradesman Quad Cab 1500 with the Hemi ,
I would be lost anyway with the upgraded electronics because I still do not own a cell phone.
I figured out how to download some of my CD's onto one of those USB Drives, though.......
Still would have been nice if Dodge had continued offering a CD Player. I am probably one of those; 1% of the population who would still use a CD Player.
Maybe I could install one of my old 8-track players in the truck ..... :D

Congrats on the Truck! Hopefully it will be a while before you have to start welding on this one!

And believe it or not, they (Ram), still offers/includes the CD player on certain models (mine has it)...not that it will get used by me ;)

Congratulations on the new truck! Tradesman's are pretty well equipped models these days.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you don’t mind us picking on you. For example, Dodge has not branded pickups since 2011. The Ram brand is part of FCA. Same trucks—just not under the Dodge brand. They put my optional CD player under the center bench seat consol...and it’s true, I may not ever use it, as there is no way to access it when driving. I’m old enough to remember when the Craig PowerPlay 8-track was THE coolest sound system out there. I put one in my '64 Chevy pickup during high school, cranking out Deep Purple tunes.

Hey Well Known Member, The concert stories we could tell (in a private setting) about back then, agree

Welcome to the forum and Congrats on the truck!!

When you get a chance could you update your signature. Just include the basic Cab, Model, Engine, Drive, Rear End, etc. It will help for further on discussions.

Never to old to enjoy nice things!!!

Welcome, The I have a c/d in my Limited. unfortunately I believe it is only available in the upper trims . Enjoy the ride. Its not your Grandpa's pick up anymore. And yes I too am old enough to remember when pick ups were tradesmans tools.

Welcome. Be sure to take out poll about what trims were picked.

You will be the first to choose Tradesman.

Good luck with the truck
