Truck would not remote start after work. Thought it was odd. When I started it from the inside the check engine light was on. 2900 miles so far, hopefully it’s something simple. Will probably try the dealership Friday.

Maybe so.

My check engine light came on at 1000 miles. Went to dealer and the code was a bad sensor on the rear differential. Service advisor said they were backed up and I wasn’t going to hurt the truck so I have kept driving it. Will have it replaced later.

Looks like it might have been a false alarm. The check engine light stopped coming on yesterday afternoon. Maybe it was just having rough day lol.

I had a check engine light around 1000 miles, cylinder misfire.. sucksss. Goodluck

As was explained to me by RAM service rep and, as strange as it sounds, even with all the technology built into this vehicle, it's not smart enough to differentiate and categorize failure codes, so if there is any failure code that turns on the Check Engine Light, remote start will not function until the fault clears.
Seem a bit extreme. The Check Engine Light is not just for emissions-related stuff any more.

HUH...Don't understand How a rear diff would set an engine code???? Might want a new dealer, they could be jerking you around.
