Picked up my 2020 1500 Night Laramie 4x4 Crew in Minnesota 2 weeks ago. Coming from a 2017 limited (Canadian spec) I’m impressed. The ride, handling, braking, and acceleration as well as interior are class leading. Quiet too. News to no one.
Not sure what to make of the dealership.
I think my neighbor had an unfavorable experience there. He is a lot more vehicle savvy than I am, he owns a dealership. Got $9000 off sticker, plus a generous offer on trade.
Goodbye dangerously dim headlights, unused sunroof, smelly exhaust, and sloppy handling with air suspension that freezes every winter. Goodbye long bed though was darn useful.
Newbie questions if you could please help
—Safe way to remove that “pulse” sticker from the back window?
— how to use the compound mirrors? On my old truck, I turned one way out into the blind spot and used the smaller one for merging. These aren’t the same.
—Mileage is not great so far. I don’t have the 3.21, but won’t the big wheel/ tires combo offset that? 285/45R22
— climate control pretty much does whatever it wants and makes a lot of noise. Does not hold comfortable temperature like my old truck.
—The runningboards are crap. I’m a skinny guy and they move when I put half my weight on them. Ugly, short, and plastic end caps. I guess this isnt a question, I just need to fire up my credit card.
—not impressed with the 19 speaker HK system versus the Alpine. I see there are some threads on that.
—Is there anyway to see what the E torque is doing? Awesome concept.
Just to show I’m a good sport, Or a sucker, No complaints that I didn’t even get license plate mounting screws, and the exhaust tips are sort of pointing in different directions. And the Lugnuts should be black, completing the look.
Beautiful truck. Hope you all are enjoying yours as well.
