Been looking at some wheel spacers for a while now, really wanted the wheels to be flush with the fender wells. Finally bought some Boras, 1-1/2” rear and 1-1/4” front. Plenty of room for the studs to clear the inside pockets of the factory wheels. Very happy with the look now. 29917A84-FD1D-4DA2-9F54-59A00941A785.jpeg 11EC7175-1ABF-4ADE-B122-A4109A66281F.jpeg 7E4FFE2B-F1EC-43CE-A069-6E002433F9B2.jpeg 9FED0386-A4E1-46CB-8D45-C049E9488EC4.jpeg 64E55716-0A2A-4659-AE6E-C542BC4CFB54.jpeg 2F8D490E-CB43-4B36-BC98-F284F49E675E.jpeg D3AD8C2A-8D52-40DC-B8F8-FAE2BCCDFEA1.jpeg

Looks great! I just did 1-1/4” front and rear and as it looks good wish I would have done staggered like yours.

Thanks. I actually think I could have gotten away with 1-1/4" rear and 1" front and still avoided interference.

Well done. Love the flush look. 👍. And with flaps…zero rocker carnage. Looks good!

I think the wider spacer is supposed to go on the front to get the square look. I could be wrong though. I added 1.5" all the way around with mud flaps and I get very little road spray/splash up. The mud flaps do a great job of protecting the lower truck.

The rear track is narrower than the front, by 1/2” or so, so I put the wider ones on the back. Glad to hear you haven’t seen a lot of splash, it’s been dry here since I put them on, and supposed to be all week, I guess I’ll find out when it rains 😉

Looks great! Been thinking about doing the spacers for awhile. They look much better with the wider stance.

Why did you go with a 1/4” difference front and back? Are they different stock? Do you have a link where you bought them? Bolt right up without any modifications?

This is a common practice.
Front track width is a tad farther out, about a 1/4 inch difference. To keep them looking even, some will do as he did. I went 3/8 inch all around, strictly for clearance of UCA’s.
Bora is a good spacer, as you can order different widths as needed, whereas some others do not allow the option and you’re only able to get the same width for all 4.

Thank you for the reply. I didn’t think about looking up the track width, the site I looked at showed the half ton to be about .4 wider in the front. Good to know, I’ll go the Bora route. Have you heard of anyone having early bearing or ball joint failure running aprox 1 1/2 spacers on the 5th gen?

Bought them on Motorsport Tech
I went with a 1/4” difference due to the front track being 1/2” wider than the rear, and I really didn’t want the front wheels poking out past the fender wells it possible. The thing I like about the bora is that they will allow you to get almost any width you want, where other spacer companies may not give you less than a 1-1/2”.

As far as bolting right up, that is precisely what they do, no other mods needed.

Thanks for the help, I’m going to do the same. Truck looks great in the pics
