It's been a few weeks, just couldn't find the time to get some mods installed. This past weekend, got 2" coil spacers and UCA's installed. Took it for an alignment yesterday. Surprised that every spec was within the middle of the range except for toe-in..... that was out of spec by 1/2" toe in! I guess the UCAs kept it within most specs. Drives really nice. Ended up with about a 3/4" rake.
Then installed 1 1/2" wheel spacers. I got a great deal on some new sneakers (more like boots).... 295/65R20 'rough terrain', 35.1" diameter. They are "Radar Renegade" RT, 45k mile warranty. Couldn't pass up the deal.....$1,071 including tax, mounting, lifetime balance, and rotations.
I had to do the tab removal and heat gun to mold the fender liner. That was the only place the tires rubbed, only at full lock. The spacers put the tires just about 1/2" inside the flares at the top.
Wifey definitely likes the look much better than stock...... that's all that matters She was actually the one that said the stock tires were too small..... I guess that's why we're married 42 years!

Then got the hood protector and door sill protectors installed. They are nice heavy TPE material, but flexible enough to follow the curves nicely. I hope they hold up well. I like the look for sure.

Next up tomorrow is to install the dash cam. Going to try the F-54 fuse tap for the power tap. It has the 'park mode' with the low voltage cut-off module. Not sure if I want to trust it..... the cut-off is at 11.8 volts...... I am concerned that might take the battery too low. I will install it and probably just unplug the camera if the truck is just sitting at home, keep it plugged in when out and about.
I picked up some LED cube reverse lights and mounting bracket. Hope to get those wired up. Going to use the trailer brake harness for triggering a relay. It will be a pain to run the wires back there from the battery. I don't want to risk overpowering the factory wires and freaking out the truck by wiring directly.
Then I want to try to figure out the fog light circuit/wires..... I don't want the extra cubes to work when the factory fogs turn on as 'cornering lights', only on when fog lights on..... not sure if it's possible.....if not, they'll get wired to act independently with the individual fogs.
Still have to install and wire up some grill marker lights...... and wash the truck...... and get some ceramic coat on it......
I don't think I have enough time again........
