First post..

I picked up a 19 limited in October (dealer demo with 14000km)
I absolutely love the truck but really not a chrome fan.
After reading countless posts on what others were doing to get rid of the chrome I started it get at it with mine

I Started with getting my truck to a fantastic body shop I’ve used in the past, had most of my grill painted, as well as the limited body mouldings down the side of the truck (colour match paint)

Next my mirror caps came in so swapped those out

Then my badges started to arrive, I partially de badged, and replaced some with black.

The window surrounds I ordered from a dealer here and then replaced the chrome with the black.

Lastly the limited stock 22”s I actually really like but not the colour so took them in and had them powder coated

I’m really happy how it all turned out and have done a few other mods
- armour flex tonneau, swing cases on both sides, banks pedal monster, xpel pp.
Next up will likely be a more aggressive tire, possible levelling kit, some upgraded reverse lights and exhaust (torn with this though, all my other trucks I’ve had the exhaust done on, but I actually really enjoy how quite the truck is in the cab, just wish it had a growl outside)

Anyways thanks for listening (love the forum)

Looks good! How much did it cost to paint bumper trim? My Ram has chrome bumpers and I’m not a fan. Too much chrome.

Nice job. Don't forgot to change to black exhaust tips when you do the exhaust.

My bumpers came painted black from factory it was my grill surround that was chrome. I’ll put up some before photo’s
My shop charged around $800(can) to disassemble, paint and put back together, that was grill and side moldings

Im debating that and blacking out the door insets and tow hooks. I think I like the subtle chrome accent, but exhaust tips will likely changed out when I do the exhaust

Damn, this exactly what I'm trying to achieve with my Limited. It doesn't seem like there are any aftermarket options besides the expensive 1k night edition grille. I guess I will have to ask my dealership how much they would charge to paint

I’d try a local reputable body shop over the dealership, likely a much better price

No one really reputable around me, and since I live in a "wealthy" area, markups are ridiculous for a medicore job

I left little bits of chrome here and there on my Limited and am glad I did. I think your truck looks fantastic, but I’m admittedly biased. This might explain why: https://5thgenrams.com/community/th...e-deleted-mostly-badge-deleted-limited.21764/
