I have installed my trailer brake controller and am now trying to program them. I have read several articles on how to do it and equipment needed to do it, and I have it all, but when I tried to locate the security gateway connection under the dash, I cannot locate it. I did a google search and found these instructions that indicate that I need to unistall pretty much my whole faceplate including dash monitor. Has anyone out there had to go thru this with their 2018 RAM?? I have attached the PDF document. Need some help. If i need to do all this to install my security gateway dongle, then I might as well take it to the dealer. Plz advise.
