Inaccuracy in the article - eTorque does NOT power the AC when it is shut off at a traffic light.

Good point; it will continue to power the fan, but (obviously) cannot run the compressor.

Did you see this part of the article.....pretty sure we have all seen this as false. Not sure where they got this from. "The system allows for improved fuel efficiency as well as additional towing capacity and payload on the models that are equipped with the system."

WHAT A JOKE! It is over priced and a bogus claim as my eTorque equipped Rebel gets 12 mpg after 9,000 miles.

I think it ONLY adds more towing capacity for the “max tow” configuration, which is something of a unicorn.

I get t 2 mpg better in my stop and go driving to work then my 2014. 16mpg v.s 14 mpg. In the warmer months it's about 17 mpg city and 22 highway.
