Kinda the BMW route honestly, I6 with a turbo. More stout than a v6, less moving parts

BMW has been doing it forever . Lots of power ,less moving parts , better balanced and
smoother.

I had a 2.7L Ford Ecoboost, lots of power, smooth and great gas mileage. The Inline should even be better!

That being said, even though my Hemi Ram is a bit slower than my F150 2.7L, and a lot lower mpg, I found myself preferring the Hemi due to the sound it produces. It creates a sense of occasion when you drive that no six banger can do.
