Fan and Temperature buttons are too dim in the daytime.

I have a 2023 Ram 1500 Laramie with the 12" display. I found the controls to adjust the brightness in the display, but it's the buttons around the display that I can barely see during the day. At night these buttons are backlit and easy to see but during the day, I can't see them. I'm referring to the red & blue temp control buttons, the fan speed control buttons, and the other buttons that surround the 12" touchscreen.

Curious, are you just stating this fact or asking for a solution? I mean you won't see any backlight in daylight because you don't need it.

I just use auto and set temp. No need to see the buttons, but I do know where they are should I ever want to adjust them

I'll have to take a picture during the daytime and post it, you literally can't tell what each button is for.

Here's two pictures I took today. The air ride, Traction control, Tow/Haul, and park sensors across the bottom are backlit all the time and show up beautifully. The buttons up each side and even the buttons across the top of the display (Lane Keep and Active Park Sense) are only backlit at night and are really hard to see during the day.

Are your headlights on and is your instrument brightness dial all the way down?

The headlight switch is in auto, but the lights are off. It was after 6 in the evening on a bright sunny day. If I had the lights on and the dimmer all the way down the buttons at the bottom would also be dim and the actual display would be dim as well.

I bought a new 2024 1500 Laramie in May. I have the same issue. It is very difficult to see the climate controls on each side during the day. Kenneth01's pictures look like my display during the daytime. They have no backlighting if the headlights are off.
