Failed 8.4nav to 12.1 screen swap

After hours of trying to make my 12.1 screen work I gave up.
I bought a 12” screen off eBay it came off a 2021 truck uconnect4 for my 2019 ram 1500 with the 8.4nav.

I ordered a repin harness from “jimmy07” ( great service / quality product) and I plugged it in to the original hvac wire. I changed the center stack settings to “off” & Net-DCSD Display Screen Module to “on” I pulled the radio fuse. I also disconnected the battery for 20 minutes & nothing made my screen turn on. All the buttons / knobs work perfectly. If anyone has any ideas let me know before I return it to the seller. (Seller agreed to pay for return shipping / full refund)

Module doesn’t need to be swapped out. I have a 8.4 with nav

I may be incorrect but I thought for uc4 you need new module regardless. I'm no expert so I let someone else chime in.

I also seem to remember that the radio module was different between the 8.4 and the 12" screens when i was looking at swapping out the one in my 2019. Could be wrong, as that was about 4 years ago.............

Yea I talked to jimmy07 and he confirmed it. I got the screen with the trim for $600 shipped & im not willing to spend another $800-1200 on a module so I’ll be shipping it back.

Yeah, it's a pricy swap (4k if you go the infotainment route) so I just made do with the 8.4, until I traded it last week for a 24 with the 12.1. .................
