Is there a way to get my factory fender flares to sit more flush? Like can I unscrew them and push them in and retighten? There are small gaps on both my front fender flares that I don’t think were there prior to having my front end pulled and reinstalled as shown in the attached pics.

There shouldn't be a gap. I haven't taken mine off but in previous trucks I've owned the flares should have a thin 3M sticky tape on them to help adhear to the truck. I'll bet they didn't put on new tape when they reinstalled and left the old tape on which isn't so sticky anymore.

Can anyone confirm that the factory flares have tape on the rear side to help hold them close to the body?

There is NO 3M tape on the 2019 DT. The flares are held on with clips.

I just installed my rough country fender flares.

I would say the gap is normal as the clips apply only so much pressure. It’s more noticeable because it’s white.

Thank you! I imagine the clips can’t be tightened up any?

I would replace the clips. Most clips will not be as tight/secure after their removed from when they were first installed.

Anyone know how thick the factory fender flares are? Just curious how much difference with vs. without.

Possibly if you spread out the ends a bit but you will more likely do more damage trying to remove them to spread them out.

BTW I am selling my factory ones (Diamond Black Crystal) if anyone is interested. I will post them in the for sale forum at some point.
