Factory brakes after 195K miles. 20 ram 4x4.

Ram did it right on some things, others not so much.

Wow! I was concerned that my factory brakes were getting near the end of their life with 80K miles on my 2020 Limited. I guess I have a long way to go with my current set of shoes. Those are front and back photos, right?

Everyone's driving styles will be different, so brake lift will vary. Always. Good idea to keep an eye on the brake pads. Easy to check every oil change. Someone that does mostly highway miles won't wear out brakes s fast s someone that does a lot of city driving. Some people use the brakes harder then stopping, while others let engine braking help and start slowing down sooner, which doesn't wear as fast.

i've done rears already on my 2020 1500.. fronts are still good.. 96.000 miles..

driving styles matter for sure. I’m an older millennial that was constantly yelled and slapped around by a boomer dad. I’m scared to use my brakes most days. 🤣🤣
