Looks like a mighty expensive project.... Reminds me of someone wanting to dress up a Basic Harley Davidson to look like a CVO (Custom Vehicle Operations) top of the line Harley.. Its still not a CVO and why ??

in my opinion, its just.....NO, just buy the real one,

plus if you add the cost of those parts, plus install, plus paint... then you be missing the wheels... all of that your already near to be in a basic trx...

that just like those who transform a pontiac fiero in a lambo or ferrari.. lol

For the wheels issue, I just read the other day that the stock trx suspension is 3” wider per side. If someone was running a flush wheel setup on the stock 1500 (~0 offset), then with the body work, they would need a -76 offset to remain flush with the new fenders. I imagine it wouldn’t look good without figuring out how to integrate trx suspension and diffs.

And after all that is done, you still don't have the horsepower (or the upgraded driveline components) that a TRX has.

Yea with the money you're gonna spend on parts, paint, and installation, i'd rather just put it on a down payment for a TRX.
Fiberwerx makes a pretty cool widebody kit for regular Ram 1500's. Almost considered it but I remembered it wouldn't work with my Rambox bed.

They want $600 for the front fenders if you choose fiberglass and $1400 if you choose carbon fiber.
Then you gotta pay another $700 or $1400 for the bedsides.... Also if you look at the front bumper, it doesn't line up anymore with the fenders anymore.
Now you gotta pay some more money just to get a wider bumper made LOL (unless you're a fabricator yourself).
Even with this kit, I would still rather just get a TRX.

I think the TRX front bumper is the same as the Rebel. The end caps are the only difference. I could be wrong, but if that's the case, then replacing the end caps is another cost.

I mean it's no different than dumping a $hit ton of money on a lift kit, wheels and tires only to never drive on a dirt road... ever, because it will get dirty. To each their own

but in a way lifting trucks and making in offraod is also making it unique, to your liking,

as oppose this kit is to copy a existing model, juste like the lambo and ferrari kit car or similar, and the cost of the rebel plus the kit come.to about a basic trx cost, so at the end better off getting the real deal.

Doesn't matter. A mod is a mod whether YOU think it's worth it or not.

you re right, we are all just giving opinions like the op asked for

but i still tink by the time he will be done with that kit and everything else needed to look like a trx (lights , trx wheels.if they fit, brakes,), it will have cost him the same that buying a base trx and he will stil not have the engine, suspension, interior trx parts, electronics)

so, imo its not worth it, i still beleive he should go with a real base trx for the same price but thats just a opinion.

For what it's worth, I don't think these kits are capturing all of the TRX details. For example, the side vents in/out of the engine compartment. Granted, a 5.7L NA Hemi may not need them.
