i have 115v power at back of console and thinking about running an extension cord somehow to truck bed for refrig/freezer instead of having cooler on back floor or even make an outlet in the non-rambox bed. not much if anything published about it

I kinda doubt the built In inverter can run a fridge. I forget the wattage but I wanna say it’s around 500w. Prob enough for a laptop or dvd player. Appliances with compressors pull a lot of amps, especially when they start.

It's an 400W inverter, but it's really 380.

Some of the newer "fridges" will run off of it, but not a regular one.

Better getting an actual inverter and running it from the hood with fuses etc.

That was my next thought. Get a 3000 watt one and run the power to the engine bay.

Was going to check the output of eTorque but Ram locked the website down so the public can no longer see the specs... wtf...
What a bunch of jerks Ram is.

Prob a Stellantis thing. They don’t want you to see how bad for the environment v8s are

Mine will. I have this 47 qt thing

and it will run quite happily using the 120V outlet on the back on the console. Or on the 12V lighter plug if it's in the bed. It would run off the 12V in the dash, but who wants to string a cord across the armrest?

Well there you go!

Yeah those are the ones I was thinking of.
I could call that a cooler and not a fridge.
You can safely pull 380 ways from the built in inverter period.
I think those are sub 300.

I got an older cheaper one that is way smaller and pulls 32 wats, which is bonkers.
