I have a '22 gt and thinking about upgrading to 5 inch exhaust tips. Any thoughts and how much will it change the sound? Thanks

Exhaust tips won't change the sound. I have the black ones from Carven. They came with my exhaust, but you can buy them separately. They just bolt on.

Contrary to what some might say, 5" will change the tone. My GT exhaust already sounded good, the 5" Carvens made the sound a little deeper, especially on startups.

And if you put a 8" tip on, it would not change the sound, it's coming from a 2.5" pipe

Google says yes, but worth the look. 5" definitely look better than stock.
