I recently replaced my exhaust, and the stock tips which were under the truck are not close to black. What type of product should I be using to clean the tips?

I've always had luck with WD-40 and a soft rag, it removes tar and other grime, shines it up, and leaves a protective film.

I typically use a product called big orange. It's a citrus cleaner that's basically watered down goo gone. Always works well to cut grease/tar/bugs, and it smells amazing (if you like oranges :) ).

soap and water and polish or wax every so often.
