Exhaust soot

Hi all. Wanted to know if this is normal or something I should get checked out. I noticed this, this morning. The soot that’s on the muffler. Any insight would be appreciated.

5.7 non etourque. It’s a ram rebel.

You don’t “ need “ to , lol . It would just sound better and get rid of the soot .

Another way to get rid of soot is install a catch can

It's the electric etorque I'm telling ya! That thing is made to run on purified dinosaur flesh. It's not a dang flashlight!
