Exhaust, clamp, and welding question

I purchased a Borla kit from someone that revert back to stock exhaust because of droning issues when towing his camper. When the Borla kit was originally installed, it was welded in place. When he went to take it off, they had to cut it. Looking at the pictures below, is it reasonable to assume that this can be salvaged using either:

1) A butt joint clamp (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pye-hvc65)
2) A professional welder

The issue I am running into now is either the muffler shop does not install used kits and/or they do not weld. I’m still trying to find someone that is able to weld. But in the meantime, anyone have experience with the clamp that they are willing to share? Thanks!

Welded clamps prevented removal of clamps.

How much coffee? Is it a linear or exponential gain in function? I'm down to 32 ounces 50/50 decaf blend but not at 100% functionality.

Have you used these clamps before? Any issues with them, or helpful tips using these?

I would prefer a slip joint over a butt joint. There’s less chance of movement. Looking at the pics the hangers may cause problems with getting a good seal. You want the butt joint as close as possible to the center of the clamp.
If you go the butt joint route I’d use some type of sealer. Permatex, muffler cement or aluminum foil.
The first link I posted can be welded on. The second would have to be modified to clear the hanger so the pipe would bottom out.

I found someone to weld them on for me. I love the sound of the Borla S-Type. Watching videos of sound comparison does not prepare you for the actual sound. It is a lot louder than I expected. Happy with the decision for now. That may change if I have to tow.
