Cowl isn't exactly what it's called. I think you're talking about the same part though. Mopar calls it a bezel...

Both of the 5th gens I've owned with the Sport hood had gaps similar to that at the rear of the "scoop". I would consider it normal. But maybe both mine were defective LOL.

My bezel has the same gaps. I bet they are all the same. It's barely noticeable and not a big deal IMO.

That is so true! Little things like that bother me but no one else seems to even notice.

It looks great either way. Pro def out weight any small gap no one really notices.

Also, would you be willing to list all the part numbers you used for the swaps? I’ve piece milled almost everything, but most don’t have photos on Mopar store. Want to verify before purchase.

So I ordered the Part #68501246AA and it just arrived. It's not the night edition. It's the same stock chrome 5.7L V8 HEMI MDS VVT eTorque Engine hood bezel that came with the truck...well that's disappointing.

Do you have an actual pic of the model number that came on the bezel you have and/or Mopar packaging?
