Trying to understand: You're looking for black Sport hood badging? Specifically etorque?

Yup, so I was able to find all the night edition badging that I need to black out everything, the only ones that I was not able to find was the night edition etorque badge.

I had found a night edition bezel, however base on what I been reading it won't fit the sport hood molding (attached below) and someone above mentioned tht I would need to replace the entirety of that molding piece (which if purchase should come with the night edition badge) however I am unable to find its product number.

I have the non etorque night ed sport. Have been thinking about going with something custom.

You can replace the Hemi badge of the sport hood separately from the entire bezel, but the problem is finding just the badge. If buying from Mopar you need to buy the entire bezel and badge as one. #1 in the link below. The issue is figuring out which one you need. A dealer parts guy should be able to help you with this. It's been my experience that the part I'm usually wanting just happens to be the most expensive one when there are multiple options LOL...

So it seems like all the dealerships around me are just as clueless as i am once we started looking into this, the above image is what i am looking for and pretty much its one of these part # below

Part #68402886AC
Part #68402887AC
Part #68402888AB
Part #68402889AB
Part #68402890AB
Part #68402891AB
Part #68501246AA
Part #68501247AA

When i presented this list to them they were just as clueless and have no idea which are the night edition badges and which are the chrome ones (like mine). Anyone here happens to know? I am looking to black out all my badges and this is the last thing 😭

Edit: I have a feeling its the 68501246AA one but i cant seem to find any picture of it online

Just going to throw this out there as I have seen 2 or 3 people dent their hoods removing this part when I was researching it to do myself. Pull the heat shield off from underneath the hood to cut the 4 clips accessible. Also, this is pretty obvious but don't put any downward pressure on the hood with a pry tool or you'll end up denting it. Use some kind of a backing to protect the hood. I used a piece of wood with a cloth under it. Lastly, I taped off the perimeter to avoid any scratches when getting the pry tool underneath the scoop.

I actually just got done putting it in. However there is a slight gap in the front of the molding that doesn't sit quite flush with the car hood like the old one that I had.

Might have flexed weird or something during manufacturing or shipping and not adhering to curves? Double check all clips are fully seated?

Possibly. I would almost wait a bit and let the sun hit it and see what that does first.

Both of the 5th gens I've owned with the Sport hood had gaps similar to that at the rear of the "scoop". I would consider it normal. But maybe both mine were defective LOL.
