My new Laramie GT has about 2k miles right now. This morning I started it and the attached message came up. Dealership has no clue and haven’t seen it before. They suggested bringing it in to do an update that all the new trucks need to come in. Has anyone ever seen this message or heard of all new trucks need to come in for an update??

I had that message several times a few months ago. Dealer replaced the telegraphics? module. personally I think it was all software related anyway but you know how smart dealer techs are

Haven't seen that error but from what that says it sounds like maybe there's a HUB battery somewhere in the unit that died.

There is a battery in the telematics box, it has low voltage. There are bulletins for that

And truck is brand new.
Not saying this as an excuse or that it doesn't suck but I work in manufacturing and we have had this happen from time to time where a unit may be borrowed by engineering or someone and then snuck back into the production line without being checked properly. Definitely shouldn't happen though
