Background: 3 years ago one of my OEM tail lights got hit by a door in a parking lot. I ignored it until last year when water intrusion into the tail light caused a significant electrical short that impacted the uconnect screen (and all the controls that route through it). I changed the housing and everything was fine.

Issue 1: In the past 2 months, I've had random instances of "BSM unvailable, service required" or "trailer blind spot monitoring active" with no trailer connected.
Issue 2: 2 weeks ago, we had a significant snowfall. Ram had zero issues with it until I started to park. Once in park the warning system basically told me to shut the engine off and restart it because of something wrong with the transmission (I don't remember the precise warning language). Check engine light was on the rest of the night. I used my OBD data reader and it threw a P0850 code. I reset it based on my research online, and the code hasn't reappeared and the truck appears to be normal.

Question 1: Are issues 1 and 2 related at all?
Question 2: Is issue 1 related to my original issue (the water getting into my OEM tail lights)?
Question 3: How worried should I be about issue 2?

Thanks in advance to all of you for your knowledge and ideas.
