Ready Go
Ram Guru
I've had the Dueler AT Ascents on for the summer, fall, and first snow fall (12"+) last week. They do look nice. Thanks for the pics!!!
I am a few months away from swapping, I will hit you up for an update then!
I still love the ride comfort, the bump absorption, the steering, handling, and on-center feel..no wander at all. They are a super well rounded AT in all respects!
PLUS, last week we had our first snow of the year and it was 12"+!! The Ascents absolutely shocked me..they were flawless in every way.
The snow hadn't been plowed, so I had to plow through it in 4x4 High and had to use the G/T's paddle shifters to keep the gears/revs at about 2000-2500rpm range (in auto it wanted to drop down to 1500rpm and felt boggy then). Also, I always drive to Tow/Haul and have 3.92 posi.
The Ascents never slipped one time, even going up/down hills or around corners, and even when I tried to brake hard..the ABS didn't kick in..incredible!
When we headed home a few hours later (friend's Celebration of Life), as I pulled up our driveway, I purposely switched it to 2WD and it still plowed through fine. I have a 90° left turn into my garage..I stopped, throttled the gas, and the rear did slide around 90° to line up with my stall, then drove in.
Fantastic tires!
**I should add, in the summer I felt 39F/36R psi was best, but recently adjusted that down to 36F/33R (after I relifted my truck another about 0.75" all around) and the ride got much better yet! Even smoother ride, no increase in tread noise, steering still tight, etc. Did a 360 mile trip last week at about 75-80mph and was very comfortable.
