Dual verses single climate country

Thanks to all the people who had constructive feedback. When my wife gets in the Accord she just moves vents around instead of adjusting the temperature. With the truck having more room the climate control made be a good option if it doesn’t break down. In the summer I wonder how a higher setting gets the air warmer, either pulling outside air in or diverting the air across the heater coil. And where is the sensor at, most likely in the duct somewhere. I’ll go with what the service guy says. I was looking up the back up alarm and thought it was a warning if you get to close to something, nah, it’s that annoying beeping sound equipment makes when backing. So I did Dodge that bullet.
In the pharmaceutical industry the supply air is cooled down to 55 degrees and then each zone has reheats that warm the air back up to somewhere around 75, sure seems wasteful to me.
I use a lot of forums, tractor, shotgun reloading. Rifle reloading, ford truck, photography, chickens, retrievers, HVAC which is absolutely the worst , they are very protective of there knowledge. This one ranks next to the bottom but only because of a few smart as$es. But thanks again to the ones who offered constructive advice .

There are only a handful of people posting on this forum that can answer most questions with absolute facts. And they generally stick to the areas that they know the best.

As for how the HVAC works to control air temp. It's called blend doors. They will mix the air coming across A/C evaporator with air coming through heater core to achieve the desired temperature. You can't compare automotive HVAC to commercial or residential building hvac. They just aren't the same. A lot of commercial buildings use chilled water to cool the air down for A/C.

Yep chilled water and steam, not to mention dessicant dryer wheels. And when one of the process set points starts to go out of range the pinch factor starts to take over. Just test drove a Cummins and 6.4 hemi and I have a hard time deciding . But, I’m going to do something soon right or wrong.
