Driving without exhaust tips?

I’m planning to get my exhaust powder coated tomorrow. Is it fine to drive without exhaust tips while my tips are getting done? I was worried about the vinyl wrap on my bumper would melt.

What if you wrapped some household aluminum foil over the bumper cover to act like a heat shield.

I drove without tips for a few days. No issue when I did it. No vinyl wrap on my bumper though.

No vinyl wrap on my bumper either, but when I went to change my tips on my 2014, I ran around for a few days without them. No issues.

Went to replace them, only to find the clamps so badly rusted/wore out that they wouldn't work for the new tips. Took a day or two for new clamps to arrive.
