Driving with tailgate down?

It seems when I drive with my tailgate down the interior lights come on, sort of like if you have a door ajar. This is with a 2025 Tungsten, power tailgate. Does anyone else have this happen or am I unique.

I get a light and it dings.

Yeah mine does -- just hit the off button for lights on door ajar on the console until I put it up

Yup, at night my first drive with it down was.......
Found that "off" swith on the upper console and that got them turned off. Just need to remember to turn it back on.
