While driving, no matter what speed, the driver seat will slide back. Sometimes all the way, sometimes it will move a 1/2 inch several times until it is fully extended, which may take 5-10 minutes or so. While it is in this state, I cannot use the controls to adjust. I can, however, use the memory button to return the seat to the set position when the truck is stopped at a stop sign or stoplight. Eventually, the manual controls will start to work again too.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Is the motor going bad, or maybe a short? Should I try to replace the relay?

Sounds like a faulty switch, maybe some moisture inside causing a short

Here's an odd suggestion. Reboot radio. With UC5, everything goes through the module. My memory seats in My durango quit working properly and the dealer did a flash to the system. If the radio reboot doesn't do it, dealer flash.

Tried the reboot, still same issue. Also unplugged the connectors that I could see/access and blew them out. Reconnected and still same problem. Pretty tight under that seat, can barely get my hands in there to do anything. Plus looking under the seat upside down doesn't help matters either. Looks like a call to the dealer is inevitable.

Dropped off to dealer this morning. Check engine light came on for air dam/active grill shutters issue also. They replaced the connection for the air dam issue. For the seat issue, they believe it is being caused by the switch so they are going to replace it. $410 for parts and labor. If this doesn't solve it, then they would replace the module which would be another $300.
They have to order the switch so I won't know until tomorrow if that is the cause. We shall see.
