Downsizing wheels and tires from 22" to 20"

I “downgraded” from my 22” wheels on my limited to a set of 20” Laramie sport wheels. I love them.

Very nice. Were you able to get a deal on a nice used set?

I was the same way with the 22's, so I moved to a 20 with 35x11.5 Nittos and love the way it looks and it rides better.

You guys that didnt like your 22s, what size tires were on it?

Does your rub? Did you have to modify anything?
No sir, even at full turn (left or right) there is no rubbing, Other than the Mopar lift, wheels and tires no mods or adjustments were needed.

No tire feedback yet (still waiting on truck) but I'm 100% with you on the 22's. After popping a tire on my current ride on a Dallas highway overpass, I'm looking for a little more sidewall so I don't ever repeat that experience.
I've also driven some sketchy AK roads and wasn't sure the rental was going to make it!
Driven the roads around there while snow-birding, and they keep you awake. Really hate I-10 all the way from Louisiana to New Mexico.

I leveled my 1500 limited today. The 285/55R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers show up later this week. Had 22” wheels in my F-150 platinum before this with 35” tires. Great ride and look.

285/55R22 installed. No cutting or trimming. All fits nice and rides like stock.

Which level lift did you choose for your limited air ride?

Yep, I bought them from a guy on FB. Currently there’s a guy selling these wheels with 33” tires asking $1,200 on the FB group.

Just saw this. I did the day star spacers and revel links.

I want to go that route but I am scared. I want to be able to use all air lift levels with out throwing a error code. Any issues there? Who did your installation? the revel links look pretty simple to install. Truck looks good!

Great thanks! I am looking at the Bridgestone Revo 3s in 275/60/20. I wonder if there is an easy way to calibrate the speedo for the difference.
I am looking at the Revo 3s right now, 275/60/200 as well. Thought I‘d go for the Cooper AT3 4S at first, but the Revos caught my attention.
Did you get them in the end and did you like them? Noise and comfort? And also what did you use to calibrate?
Thanks

I did not, I got the KO2s from Costco. I've been very happy with them. No need to calibrate as my GPS shows almost no difference in depicted vs actual speed.
