Hi all. We were traveling in New Mexico recently when we noticed the front right doors black panel immediately behind the window had come off. We have no idea when or where. We dont use carwashes so that wasnt the cause. When we noticed it, I immediately took a pic of that and the odometer, reading 35,945 miles. Warranty is gone at 36k. What are your thoughts on getting RAM Customer Care to take care of this? IMG_9690.JPG

Sadly they are going to say based upon the photo it looks like it was pried off. :(

Yeah, looks like that was taken off, if it was loose and coming off, the adjoining panel would have damage

I can attest to the fact that those panels are not easy to get off. Judging from the photograph, I'd say it was torn off.

Do you think someone tried to take it off on purpose? I just finally found one online for $28 including shipping. Just easier to replace myself versus trying to get a warranty claim.

Yeah those are hard to get off by looking at all the tape and fasteners. $28 do it yourself. It's not worth the time to drop off the truck or wait that long for them to replace it.
