My 2019 Ram 1500 thinks the Driver door is open when it’s wet? I have had or replaced myself the BCM, door latch, window gasket around door, third brake light gasket, checked sunroof drains, checked connections between door and body and put die electric grease on all pins, checked sliding rear window. It only takes a little moisture for this to happen and takes a day or two of dry weather for it to work correctly. HELP!

I haven't worked as a mechanic in close to 40 years, so I don't know how the modern electrical systems are wired, but I'l just throw out a guess. The old days, the lights turned on, by grounding, but with all the electronics these days, they may turn on, by open circuit. If so, it could be a bad ground, effected by moisture. There are 30 ground points in a 1500, but I have seen a diagram of them somewhere on here. Try putting ground, in search. It can't hurt to check grounds.

I took my garden hose today and sprayed areas one at a time, drivers side windshield, passenger side windshield and same with rear window and drivers door however I can’t recreate the issue…I don’t have a lot of hair left as it is but this is really crazy!
