Little help here guys. My border collie loves rides, she’s as happy as can be in my 2500 Ram. But, not in the 1500 Ram, she barks, whimpers, and howls, she wants out very badly. Active noise cancellation has the mics depinned, this didn’t help. I’m at a loss here, she’s never acted this way, not even in my mustang that was loud enough to wake the dead.

Interesting. For what it’s worth, my jack russel Dixie has no problems in my Laramie. She has a nice big play area in the back with the seats folded. My ANC is working, and I have Flowmaster exhaust.

Are you riding with just one window partly cracked by chance? That causes some serious reverb, open the back slider a little to stop it.

Could be a high-frequency whine from electronics; maybe she’s an early warning detector! You might try a signal analyzer app to figure this one out.

Yeah, I’ve looked through the fuse box to find a fuse to pull for the radar in the windshield, I’m not sure what to pull. I’ve turned off collision warning and advanced cruise, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t transmitting something.

Thanks for the app idea, I would have never thought of that.

Has she been smoking high potency Marijuana? If so she might have induced a predisposition to Border Collie Personality Disorder

Maybe some Cognitive Canine Therapy is in order

Just teasing!

I’m sure this is extremely unpleasant for you both. I hope you find a solution and when you do please let us know.

Is it while you're driving (low/high speed), or anytime the truck is running?

Lol!!

She’s really easy going, most everything just rolls of her back. She’s had to listen to really good music at high volume, she’s was with me when I slid my mustang off the road at 60 mph, hit a big pile of dirt and went airborne. Always happy and ready to get back in a go again. But, fireworks, guns, and thunder, she’s not a fan.

Highway speed, 75mph. She’s fine when it’s sitting idling.
Could be whistling from the active air dam, which you could try temporarily disconnecting (so it doesn't drop) - assuming you don't have the air suspension.
