My trailer brake controller went out towing 7,000 lbs going down the interstate which turned off cruise to avoid crash, managed to get off road, destroying a tire, then it magically came back on and I drove home. Took it to dealer and they blindly replaced things based on codes set, namely the cruise switch $413 (nothing to do with brake controller failure), and replaced TPMS in tire that was destroyed $244. So I contacted RAM Stellantis for help Nov 30, but have yet to get any reply. So am I simply screwed with no recourse? I need to get this fixed by someone competent or sell the truck.
