Do you use 4WD Auto?

Yes. My truck is the same (TRX). It's never been out of 4-auto, except when it's been in 4-high or 4-low.

Rain or light snow. Deeper snow is 4-hi.

I do put it into 4-low several times per season to ensure that everything gets used. Use it or lose it.

Same as the common answer, in rain and snow. Additional rain consideration in east Tennessee is trees filled with aphids dropping "honeydew." Just the slightest rain can turn it slick as ice, same problem as a light rain starts to evaporate. A good heavy rain washes it away greatly improving wet traction.

Absolutely. I required the 4A option as part of my decision criteria. I will never buy another pickup or SUV without it.

I will in the fall when there's wet leaves and in the winter when there's snow/ice. For now I just leave it in 2wd ('25 Rebel GT purchased in July)

With how spin happy the rear wheels are even with limited slip, I love having 4a for weather.

My truck was ordered without a LSD (sadly) so I required it to have 4 auto and it works great in everything except extremely icy conditions. I use it on boat ramps, light/medium snow especially if the road conditions go from covered to payment. Since it has no LSD it’s almost required when raining to get into traffic. I also use it in our grass barn lot while moving stuff around. Doesn’t tear up the yard when you turn and doesn’t slip tires when you power up to move trailers.

We traveled in a big snow storm last winter towing about 4000 lbs and I had it in 4 auto for 350 miles on the highway.

I changed the T case fluid at 50k and it looked almost as clear as the new fluid going in. Coming up on the 100k change this fall.
