I'm about to buy a set of TRX take offs for my 2020 Lonestar. I apologize in advance for all the questions but your setup is looking super clean.

What brand spacers did you use? Did you have to trim your studs?

What leveling kit did you install? Did you have to trim/bend/modify your wheel wells?

How's the ride quality and road noise? Are you seeing any significant dip in MPG?

1.5" 6x5.5 HubCentric Wheel Spacers with 14x1.5 Studs for 2019-2022 Ram 1500 788601130189 | eBay

Is the 1.5 spacers I used no trimming of stud
Level kit was motofab 2” and yes it will rub had to get a hammer and bend a metal bracket where there is a push fastener at the bottom and used a hair blower to mold the liner front and back of the front wheels will rub only when hard turn. I still get a quick rub every once in a while ride quality is great very little road noise gas I really haven’t noticed since I also have a pedal monster which improves the acceleration a lot so don’t know if that also affects gas mileage. I also got a 5 trx rim and tire when I bought this set so I’m trying to see how I could put that in spares place. There someone on that has done it already so will try later.

Julio13 Thank you for your advise! I got the level installed and the wheels on. I’ll take it in for an alignment and a wash tomorrow. Are your fender flares OEM or aftermarket?

For you guys that used the spacers. Did you use locktite? If so, did you use locktite on both on hub and spacer studs?

I’ve got some rub on each side when I turn the wheel a full revolution. I haven’t had a chance to get the heat gun out to massage the fenders out of the way but I’ll let you know if I can successfully get everything to clear.

I know this is beaten to death, but I just got a set of TRX wheels for my 2022 1500. There is a lot of conflicting info out there. Would like as small of a spacer as possible. Some threads say 1/2” is enough, others say you need to go 1.5”! I ordered 1/2” but will the stock 325’s not clear the upper control arm with that spacer? Also note, I did a level and put on Zone UCR’s so it’s probably an experiment bc who knows how those compare to stock.

Any insight I would love! Probably just gonna get both sets of spacers and return one.

I’ve probably got about 3/4 inch in between my UCA and the tire. It just depends on how comfortable you are having your tire spin at highway speeds so close to the UCA.

Anyone else with updates ? I may just go ahead and buy the wheels/tires and see if I can get by with 3/4” spacers before ordering. Mine is a 2023 1500 4x4. I have the 2” leveling kit in hand I need to install.

The wheels yes they fit perfectly the tires no, if your tires are in great condition just swap them, if not you will require new set of tires, depending on the lift of your car, width of the tires, you might require a spacer.

I will head down stairs to take some pictures and share the size I have,

Installed with a 2" spacer lift, the tires were rubbing the upper control arm very bad when it was lifted on the lift, drove it to the nearest shop and bought a 2" spacer which is an over kill but at that time that's what's available.

I will update you on pictures in a while

I can’t edit the previous post but this is my truck with 2” spacer.

Got a project coming up this week with a 2023 Bighorn without ORP, installing Bilstein 6112s with Icon UCA’s, and the 5160’s in the rear and the TRX wheels and tires. Will update with photos along the way and before and afters.

Finally got around to it, installed Bilstein 6112s up front, Bilstein 5160s in the rear, Icon UCAs, and TRX wheels and tires. 6112s are on clip #7. 1.5” hubcentric spacer in place and everything fits. Minor trimming up front to the inner fender liner but now achieved zero rub even at full turn. Enjoy, hope you like the truck and I’ve got a lot more coming.
