Disappointed with Bak X4s

Decided to purchase another Bak industries cover. I had a X2 on my previous 2015 Ram and was fairly satisfied with it despite a few issues. I went back and forth on bed covers but decided on the X4s due to the upgrades. I’m feeling like I make the wrong choice.


First and most important is the latch in passenger side is broken the string came out of the latch on the first pull.

Second is the seal on the front drivers side is already pulling up.

Really disappointed and wanted to vent a little. I emailed Bak support and will follow up when I hear back from them.

To update: they are sending me an entire new cover.

I had the older version of the x4 and it had a tear in the top they sent me a brand new top in the newer version

It's not very common there's an issue with BAK's products. (I sell them) How ever when there is their customer service has always been top notch! I'm glad to hear that continues to be the case for their customers direct as well.

While I think Baks quality has gone downhill the last few years, their customer service is still top-notch.
