Different/Larger tires

I’m new to these types of forums so please bear with me .
I have a 2019 Ram quad cab, 5th gen. off road edition. My question, can I increase the stock tire size (LT275/65 r18) without any modifications like a lift?
Thanks in advance.

You can. I went from 275/65 to 275/70 and will do it again.

I don't want more width on the tire than stock which is 275. Your aspect ratio (width to height) is the 65, so if you increase it to 70 you'll have a larger circumference tire. Just going up one size doesn't need a lift.

Keep in mind, the truck is programmed for your stock tire size so when you upsize, your speedo and mileage will be off. You can buy a product to change tire size yourself or have it programmed at the dealer. Multiple options to buy like Alpha OBD or Tazer DT. I'm sure there's others out there now-a-days. Quick forum search will help.

I went up from 65 to 70 as well without a lift, Michelin Defender 275/70 r18.

33.2" x 11" no rubbing at all, in fact there's room to spare. I drove around for a month or so without recalibration, the only thing noteworthy was the dash calculated mpg was incorrect and the speedometer read 70 when actual speed was 73ish.

Identical for me, but I didn't change my speedo. It's 2 mph off on mine. Of note, I have the narrower steel wheels, so 275 really is max. I will go with 20" takeoffs next with 275/60/20, which is one size bigger than factory 20".

Thanks so much for all the great advice.
I read that someone went with 285/75r18 with no suspension modifications or wheel change. Does that seem possible, any thoughts?
Thanks

I’m running 285/55/22’s, which is about .5 inches shorter than the 285/75/18’s with a level and I had to trim the inside of my front mud flaps. The 285/75/18 is a very tall tire. The width will clear the UCA’s, but without a level, it may be a tight fit, even with the ORP.

Below is a link to the best website to compare tire sizes. Good luck!👍
