To give perspective I get over 1000kms on my 33 gallon tank with mixed city/hwy driving and about 600km towing almost 8000lbs. My former Hemi with the same size tank got 500km with mixed City/hwy and 250-300km towing. My rebel ED mileage has been easily double over almost 9000km (broke 10,000km on odometer but haven’t filled yet) tracked km.

A 26 gallon tank won’t give you range anxiety with the diesel, if you are trying to decide on tank size. As a bonus you get about 100lbs of payload extra with the 26 gallon vs 33.

Here are my old Hemi logs (160,000 tracked) vs new ED logs (squatch almost 9,000km tracked). Lots of towing on both. 32L/100km on the Hemi is towing, ED does 17L/100km all day towing. Hemi average not shown was 16.6L/100km, two different tracking apps. My ED average is better than my best ever mileage on the Hemi.

A lot has to do with your age…the older I get, the more I have to stop to hit the restroom. At my age, 26 gallons of diesel is more than ample between bathroom stops.
