I picked up my 2021 Rebel a couple weeks ago, and have been ordering parts ever since.

Like most vehicles I own, I tend to personalize them to my liking, and how I plan on using them. For my most recent build, a 2018 BMW M2, I built a reliably track car than can also be road driven without too much sacrifices.

For the rebel, my goals are to build an in your face offroad truck, that can also be used to travel, pulling a camper or boat to where ever we want to go.

The rebel started off very well optioned (see sig), and I intend in keeping the air suspension, at least until I have issues with it.

The first thing getting done is a full truck wrap. I'm not a huge fan of the granite color, it's a bit too bland for me. I like eye-popping colors, and like having my vehicles not look like anything else on the road. I'm not going to give away the color just yet, but I'm pretty sure no other rebel has done it.

I solicited quotes from a handful of reputable wrap shops in the area. They ranged in price from $3700 to almost $5000. It's a bit more than I wanna spend, and decided to take it on myself. I've done some wrapping in the past, but nothing this big.

I dropped the truck off In my shop this evening and started disassembly. I wrapped one of the front quarter panels as a test. It turned out pretty well but I did have tiny tear near the headlight. I'm debating on whether to just leave it, as it's barely noticeable.. We'll see.

Anyways! Long winded intro here. But expect to see some more activity once the wrap is complete.

Nice truck! Looking forward to following along. Let's see that wrap reveal!
It's coming along :)

I'm about halfway done, working on it when I have free time (which sadly isn't a lot). Hoping to have some big chunks of time this weekend get close to completion.

It's not perfect, thats for sure. But I've never wrapped anything this large before and definitely learned some hard lessons!

I took pictures along the way as progress and will be posting them up as soon as it's revealed. There's only like 2 people who know what color it's going to be, so it'll be a big surprise!

hmm judging from the Long Beach Blue M2 I am hoping it's gonna be LSB lol
Not LSB. Have too many blue cars at the moment :)

I did almost buy an LSB E46 a couple years ago. But my plans were to make it a 100% track car and it seemed like a waste on such a rare color.

hmm this is fun lol
is it a BMW color???

LSB E46 M is such an icon. I'm still drooling over my friend's Blau but he doesn't drive it much...
maybe a LSB E46M in SMG and do manual conversion and that'd hurt less lolll

haha. No, its not a BMW color. I'm pretty sure there is not another "rebel" in this color on the planet.

My M2 doesn't get driven much either. It has around 48K miles on it and I bought it in 2018. Quite a bit of track time though! (Some videos on Youtube, search for my username here)
