Purchased a Dethloff MFG skid plate to fill in between the factory Rebel plates right below the transmission. It's robust as all get-out and seems ready to take a serious beating.

Fantastic product! Marcus was great to work with. If you have any questions with install just holler at me. I got the prototype so I didn't get any instructions, put the brackets on the transmission crossmember, then lift the skidplate into place.

I haven't changed out yet. It has plenty of cutouts to allow easy access though.

And installed. I had a little trouble with the install because the transmission cross-member sagged when I unbolted it, but I just used a bottle jack to push it back into place and fit the bolts in. But for $350, that's a lot of confidence installed.
