I'm hoping to be taking delivery of my truck in the next few weeks. This is first vehicle I've owned from new and would like to do my best to keep it looking great. I ordered a black limited so I'm looking for some detailing tips.
I've been reading about ceramic coating but still not sure if it's worth it. Plus don't really know how to find anyone in my area that does it.
Any tips on avoiding swirl marks? I tried doing a clay bar on my wife's old car but honestly couldn't tell if I added any marks as there were already some there. Should I avoid having the dealer detail? Should I just pay a detailer in the area to do the first detail? By the time I get the truck, the weather is going to be pretty cold here. Any tips or resources would be much appreciated.
