Destined for a new transmission…

Walking the last update back…FCA said no go on transmission, they want the valve body replaced first. So now waiting to find out what the timeline for that looks like. I assume as long as it’s available it is a couple hour job, new pan, and some new fluids…

And change of plans again today…service advisor states they talked to Ram again and guess the stacked codes warrant full transmission replacement. Hopes to be done Friday I guess. We’ll see…

Supposedly trans guy was waiting on some parts for another vehicle, so he started on mine yesterday evening and finished it today. $8,900 tab paid out by Ram . I’ll pick it up when I get back from vacation, either Saturday if I get back soon enough or Monday if I don’t.
