Dashboard tray glare

Anyone else have a problem with a glare off that chrome nameplate just above the dashboard tray? Every day i park and wait at the same spot for a few minutes, and every day the sun hits this plate and just blinds me until I move.
The driver and passenger blinders don't help at all, and I'm getting tired of holind my arm up to block either the sun hitting that, or the reflection from my eyes.

No, I've not. Guess you could try sunglasses or put something over it. Not sure what there is to do about it.

Get a decal overlay. I also get blinded by the surround as well at times.

We just put a real nice black wash towel over it.
Yes very annoying, why would they (ram) on do that.

I have a 2022 Ram Limited and have had this problem for 3 years! Asked dealer if they had solution and they said no. I looked at a new 2025 Ram and noticed the chrome had been replaced with a color accent which does not reflect like chrome. Don't know how you could get one to replace chrome, but might be possible. I am ordering a small sunshade from Amazon for 9.00 that is made out of static cling to try it out. Plan to cut it to size. Will update you if it works.

happens all the time and funny thing is this just happened to me. i just ignore it it don't last long. i'm not going to paint it like some ricer in the 90's.....

I have vinyl overlays on mine, but can't say I had any issues before I added the vinyl I can see where it would cause issues at certain angles though.
