Dashboard leather scratched

As I was putting up my sun shield this morning, the clasp on my watch scratched the passenger side dash...the area isn't huge but it's noticeable (especially to me). Should I take the chance and try to repair it with a DIY kit or should I just take it to an upholstery shop. I wasn't sure how much they would charge but I can get a repair kit online for fairly cheap...

Its a 2019 Longhorn and unfortunately not under warranty.

A quick google search came up with this Avalon King article. I’ve always enjoyed their articles. This seems like something any independent upholstery shop could handle. Chances are it won’t end up perfect, but it should look better.
