It controls the small LED light between your map lights. It shines down onto your cupholders/Center console.

I also have a Bighorn, it is there to drive you crazy. Because you have a Bighorn the activation of the switch is hard to identify. The switch activates the light above the center console. It has been documented on the forum previously. The higher trim levels have additional ambient lights (doors, floor, glove box - ?) in the vehicle, so it is more noticeable when the switch is activated.
