2019 RAM Limited 44K miles. Came out this morning and dashboard was bubbled up in several places. I have always kept a sunscreen in the windshield, and never used any water products on the leather. My extended warranty does not cover it, but this should not occur in a 5 year old vehicle. I have seen postings by several different people that there is a "soft recall" on this. Interested if anyone else has gone through this and had to repair for the repair, which I am guessing is a couple of grand.

My 19 dash was replaced twice, 2nd time held up for 2-3 years before I traded it in, all done under warranty. I traded my 19 in for a 22 a couple weeks ago and on the way home I noticed a bubbe in it. Brought it to the dealer the next day and have a new one on order, once again under warrnty thankfully.

So sorry you are going through this. This shouldn't happen. It is poor design or workmanship or both. I can tell you there is no factory extension of any warranty on this problem listed for mine. If you are looking for your dealer to fix it under goodwill, good luck with that. They make their living on things like this. Thankfully mine bubbled up inside of 3/36 so they fixed it for free. It has been nearly 3 years now and the new one seems to be holding up. I only wipe it down with a very slightly damp microfiber which basically just picks up the dust. Many have said this doesn't matter, but I think it may. I have always kept a sunshade on it since brand new and that made no difference on the first one. I have heard around $2k for a new one.

Common issue and even the replacement dashboards suck and bubble over time best thing to do is use a windshield cover in hot months religiously and tint front windshield with ceramic
