1500 limited 5.7 hemi. Had a check engine light turn on and truck started idling really rough. Had obd checked and it read cylinder #5 misfire. Took it to my mechanic and after full diagnostics, everything checked out fine. Ignition coil was fine, spark plugs were fine, compression test was fine, ECU didn't read any issues. He then called a specialist and they said there is a known issue with the 5.7 with the valves on cylinder #5. Called the RAM dealership and submitted a warranty claim since the truck only has 22000 miles on it. Dealer said it could be covered but until they run diagnostics they won't know for sure. Anyone dealt with an issue like this, or a warranty claim on the power train?
